We put the safety and well-being of our riders ahead of considerations such as fashion. The following items are compulsory for all riders.
It doesn't have to be an official riding helmet: a bike helmet protects you just as well.
Everybody gets stepped on by a pony sooner or later. We get bruised, sure, but we often thank our shoes that nothing gets broken.
When riding a pony or a horse, your legs rub against your saddle, tree branches and often against the flanks of your pony. Good long trousers protect your legs against scratches...and against flies and horseflies, too!
Sometimes it rains unexpectedly; sometimes it's colder than we thought. In the winter, it often snows, so it's always better to be overprepared than underprepared. Think ahead and bring anything you think you might need.
